FAQs

Is your group anti-immigration ?

No, we are not, we are pro-lawful immigration. Immigration is a federally defined legal process for entrance into our country, not to be confused with those that come here by penetrating our borders. We view this as a rule of law issue, enforcement of the laws that are in place for the benefit and security of all citizens, and those lawful immigrants that have chosen Loudoun as their permanent or temporary home. Our principal areas of focus are the cost of public benefits and services financed by Loudoun County taxpayers, and a net loss of job availability for citizens and lawful residents caused by illegal hiring practices.

Are you affiliated with any party ?

Among our membership, we count folks of all political parties, and independents that have no party preference or allegiance. Our common bond is the effect of illegal immigration upon the quality of life in Loudoun County, in the present, and the future.

How does illegal migration effect me economically ?

Our county services are funded wholly by your tax dollars. More services to more people simply equals more taxes. Currently, Loudoun County does not ensure that the recipients of all county services are lawful residents. Some county programs are no longer accepting new applications from citizens owing to the length of the existing wait lists. A more direct economic impact is seen by those who cannot find work or have been terminated simply because the employer unlawfully hired illegal aliens at under the prevailing labor rates.

What can I do to help ?

Get involved, and let your voice be heard. Membership in civic organizations such as ours is a great place to start. Write letters to our Loudoun County officials letting them know that this is an important issue for you. Raise awareness of the economic impact, and it's effect on our neighborhood schools. Many are unaware of how a growing illegal alien population affects them. Help educate them! Most importantly utilize the most important tool you have, your vote. Check this site often for local businesses that have taken the "Do The Right Thing" pledge. Frequent them, and ask your friends and family to do so as well.

What is the difference between Help Save Loudoun  and Help Save Loudoun Political Action Committee (PAC) ?

Help Save Loudoun was founded to educate Loudoun residents on the issues caused by illegal aliens, and to help them with things such as zoning violation reporting, and in the understanding of local enforcement options available. Our PAC was formed specifically for the purpose of endorsing and supporting candidates showing a commitment to our cause.
